This advancement signifies not just a collaboration between two pioneering platforms but also a major step forward in simplifying the design process for our users. Here, we’ll guide you through the easy-to-follow steps to convert 3DLOOK files into Seamly2D measurement files, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition.

 

Option 1: Direct Import within Seamly2D

1. Start the Import Process: Within Seamly2D, select the menu item to import 3DLOOK’s measurement file. This initiates the conversion process.
2. Beta Phase Information: A notification will inform you that, during this beta period, your file will be sent to Seamly for conversion. We handle this step to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
3. Confirmation: Click ‘OK’ to agree to send your file for conversion.
4. Send Your File: Your email application will open. Simply attach your 3DL file and click ‘Send’. Our team at Seamly will take it from there.
5. Receiving the Converted File: You’ll receive the converted file via email within a few minutes. Once received, place it in your seamly2d\measurements\individual directory, and you’re all set to use it in Seamly2D.

 

Option 2: Direct Email Conversion

Alternatively, you can directly send your measurement file from 3DLOOK to [email protected].

1. Email the File: Attach your 3DLOOK measurement file in an email and send it to [email protected].
2. Quick Conversion: We’ll convert your file and email it back to you promptly.
3. Final Step: Upon receiving the converted file, place it in your seamly2d\measurements\individual directory to start utilizing it in your designs.
